Biography

Mike is our scientific and content advisor across the series. Well-known as one of Britain’s leading wildlife filmmakers, Mike has travelled and filmed extensively all over the world (USA, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Panama, Malaysia, India, and every country in Western Europe, to name but a few... ) and organised camera teams to be sent to many other destinations. He has over 20 years of production experience, including on ITV’s landmark wildlife series Survival helping it to win countless awards. Nowadays Mike’s schedule is busier than ever, including (deep breath) producing educational material for schools worldwide with his company Hairy Frog, running various tutorial courses for wildlife filmmakers and teachers, voice overs for TV, radio and corporate videos, and of course advising EC1.
